Invite Fat Kitty Teriyaki To Your Event
We pop-up at local, public events!
Depending on the event type and size, we can set up and serve on-site.
PUBLIC EVENTS
festivals, markets, concerts, and other public-facing events
We love being invited to events so event-goers can experience Fat Kitty Teriyaki in action!
Our event radius includes Corvallis, Albany, Lebanon, Philomath, Newport, and the surrounding communities.
We arrive at your location with our tent and cooking equipment, so we can cook to order. We will need at least a 10×15 area for our tent and grill.
Based on the details we gather about the expected number of participants, date, and location, we will confirm that our schedule allows us to attend.
Invitations to pop-up at your event should be requested 1 month prior to the event. This allows Chef Justin to order as needed and secure any required permits.
Our Requirements For Attending Your Event
Due to our permit status, your event must be an advertised public event, open to community members.
Event-goers must have access to restrooms and handwashing stations, per our permit requirements.
Fat Kitty Teriyaki expects to serve a minimum of 50 meals at any event we attend to offset permitting costs.
Event FAQs
-
Fat Kitty Teriyaki expects to serve at least 50 meals to event-goers to offset the permitting fees paid prior to popping up. This generally means you should expect at least a few hundred people.
-
We always have chicken and tofu on our menu. Beef is added based on your event’s length and attendance. When you invite us to your event, we will learn more details and agree on the proteins available.
-
That’s okay! Depending on the size of your event, we are happy to travel up to 50 miles to pop up at your event.
-
We have a vegan & gluten-free teriyaki sauce that is always used on tofu dishes, making them our only truly gluten-free meals. All other meals use soy-based sauces. Please note that our commercial kitchen is not certified as gluten-free.
-
Our tent is 10x15 feet, and the grill we use takes up additional space. We also want to ensure the area where Chef Justin will be cooking is generally free of fire hazards. When we contact you, please share any details Chef Justin needs to know about the space where he will be working.
-
We prefer that all event requests give us 1 month’s notice in order to source ingredients and apply for permits. If you contact us before this timeline, Chef Justin will consider whether he can accommodate your request.
