Depending on the event type and size, we offer several catering options.
PUBLIC EVENTS
We love being invited to local events so event-goers can experience Fat Kitty Teriyaki in action!
Our event service means we arrive at your location with our tent and cooking equipment, so we can cook to order. You decide in advance which menu items you want available, and Chef Justin will come prepared accordingly.
Upon ordering, we will gather details regarding the expected number of participants, the date, and the location. Based on that information, we will confirm that our schedule allows us to attend.
Includes festivals, markets, concerts, and other public-facing events.
Invitations to pop-up at your event must be requested 1 month prior to the event. This allows Chef Justin to order as needed and secure any required permits.
PRIVATE CATERING
Includes events hosted on private property, with a minimum order to serve 10.
Organizing a birthday bash, anniversary party, or graduation celebration takes a lot of work, beyond just feeding people. Having ready-to-serve food means you can enjoy your guests without worrying about meal logistics. Order Fat Kitty Teriyaki to skip the kitchen mess and simply put food on the table.
Our private catering service has two options:
On-Site Action Station
Requesting an action station includes a pop-up tent on your private property during your event. Chef Justin brings everything he needs to cook to order. Before the event, you decide which menu items you want, and he comes prepared for action!
We will arrive at the agreed-upon time to set up before your event. We will need at least a 10×15 area for our tent and grill.
Our standard for this catering request includes food served to your attendees in our takeout containers, with disposable utensils provided. If you prefer to have your guests served on traditional plate settings, equipment rental is available at an additional cost.
Pick-Up & Self-Serve
Pre-order your desired menu items and pick them up before your event. When you request your order, we will ask whether you need utensils and napkins, and whether you have any special requests.
Our standard catering orders include food delivered in disposable tin trays. If you prefer a more polished look for your event and would like to rent equipment, such as chafing trays, tables, or chairs, please let us know.
To pick up your order, we have a commercial kitchen in Corvallis. When we confirm your order, we will coordinate pick-up based on the timing of your event. A delivery option is available at an additional cost, subject to our schedule and availability.
Orders for private catering must be placed at least 1 week before the event. This allows Chef Justin to order enough of everything we need to accommodate your request.
Payment, Change Orders & Cancellation Policies
To secure a catering order, a 50% down payment is required. Your down payment allows Chef Justin to order and source any needed ingredients for your event. Down payments are not refundable.
If your event is postponed, we are happy to apply your deposit to a new date within the same calendar year. Your quote may be affected by pricing changes beyond our control.
If the number of attendees increases after securing your order, an additional deposit may be required.
If your event is cancelled, we require a 48-hour notice. If you do not give us a 48-hour notice of cancellation, you are responsible for payment in full as outlined in your contract.
All orders must be paid in full before food is released to you.
Any exception to these policies will be considered on a case-by-case basis, with no guarantees.

Fat Kitty Teriyaki catering requires food for a minimum of 10 people. From there, the sky is the limit!

We will ask for the number of attendees, the date, and the timeframe of your event. Knowing these things allows us to decide whether all of these factors make sense for us to close that day at our food stall location at Out West Farm & Ranch Chuck Wagon Food Court.

That’s okay! Depending on the size of your event, we are happy to travel up to 50 miles to pop up with an action station.

If you require gluten-free options for your catered event, that is available at an additional charge. Please note that our commercial kitchen is not certified as gluten-free. If you request our attendance at a public event, we do not bring gluten-free options.

Our tent is 10x15 feet, and the grill we use takes up additional space. We also want to ensure the area where Chef Justin will be cooking is generally free of fire hazards, as he will be cooking on a grill. When we contact you, please share any details Chef Justin needs to know about the space where he will be working.

Chef Justin is open to special requests, as long as they align with the Fat Kitty Teriyaki brand and he has enough time to source any ingredients he may not have readily available. Plan early for your event if you expect to modify the menu.

All catering orders require a 1 week notice. All event requests require a 1 month notice. If you contact us sooner than these timelines allow, Chef Justin will consider whether he can accommodate your request.

For an additional cost, we can arrange rental of items such as chafing trays, tables, or chairs. Once we secure your rental through our vendor, you are responsible for transport, setup, teardown, and return. All rentals are under your name, so contractual responsibilities are yours.
